Introducing MacKids – a new name & logo for McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation

We thrive on transforming ideas into captivating visual stories. Recently, we had the privilege of working with Hamilton Health Sciences and the McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation to create a video that unveiled their new name and brand – MacKids. With a clear vision from their brand strategist, we set out to craft a unique and engaging piece that would resonate with their audience.Our journey began with an innovative approach: stop motion animation. This technique allowed us to creatively layer each email video over the next, crafting a dynamic visual experience that mirrored the sequence of the emails sent out to the foundation by interested donors. It was both a fun and challenging process, where we meticulously captured each frame, ensuring that the essence of their message was conveyed effectively.

As we delved into this project, we learned valuable lessons about collaboration, creativity, and the power of storytelling. By working closely with the foundation’s team, we were able to align our vision with theirs, resulting in a final product that exceeded expectations.

The end result was a vibrant and engaging video that not only revealed the new name of the Mcmaster Children’s Hospital Foundation but also showcased the heart and mission behind their work.
